ROBINETTE was indicted on April 9, 2013, and pleaded guilty to one count of Production of Child Pornography on November 8, 2013.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Los Angeles Division A resident of Quail Valley who pleaded guilty to sex trafficking charges—and admitted forcing a 14-year-old girl to work as a prostitute—was sentenced today to 210 months in federal prison. Kawaum Marquez Scott, 24, received the 17½-year sentence from United States District Judge Virginia A. Phillips.
Federal Bureau of Investigation New Orleans Division Jeremiah Washington, the second suspect wanted in connection with the May 26, 2014 shooting of Korey Reed, turned himself in to the FBI New Orleans Violent Crime Task Force (NOVCTF). FBI officials announced last week that Washington was being sought for Reed’s murder.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Albuquerque Division The War On Drugs Gabriel Gene Ortega, 34, an enrolled member of the Mescalero Apache Nation who resides in Mescalero, N.M., was sentenced this morning for his methamphetamine trafficking conviction. Ortega was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison to be followed by three years of supervised release.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Baltimore Division (Armed Robbery) (1/3) The FBI Violent Crime Task Force is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that will help them identify a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 879 East Fort Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 27. The robber passed a note the teller, demanded money, and left the bank. No one was hurt.
Federal Bureau of Investigation New Orleans Division Most Wanted the return of FBI Top Ten Fugitive Jose Manuel Garcia Guevara to Lake Charles, Louisiana. Guevara has been the subject of a manhunt since 2008, when he allegedly murdered a 26-year-old woman in the presence of her 4-year-old stepson. Guevara and the victim lived in the same mobile home park. Guevara allegedly broke into the victim’s home, raped her, and brutally stabbed her to death.
