Imbolc: Brighid's Day (#Imbolc). It interests me that the poem says it's midwinter, even though Imbolc is in Feb. and midwinter is generally another name for Yule. This is what happens when people mix calendars.
Imbolc is the feast of Brighid. The Irish goddess Brighid is the keeper of the sacred flame, the guardian of home and hearth. To honour her, purification and cleaning are a wonderful way to get ready for the coming of Spring.
