Kandice is a teacher at The Mellon Patch Preschool and Child Care in Hampton, SC. She tell us, "In our garden we plant several different types of vegetables, many vegetables that children may not get a chance to taste on a normal basis. Some of our vegetables we have planted now are radishes, banana peppers, tomatoes, hot peppers. We discuss how planting a garden feeds us. We also discuss the many different ways that we have to care for the vegetables so they will grow." #diggingdeeper
