Some of Cindy's Work!

These pieces were created from ordinary or extra-ordinary vintage linens. I simply take a linen, add an underlayment, batting and backing and then quilt the devil out of it. I often add loads of beads for embellishments. I also love using Dupioni Silk to create extra-ordinary wholecloth quilts.

I backed the yardage with smooth Dupioni Silk. This ends up being the "front" of the class sample. Very pretty and easily done!

Class sample from Heirloom Feathers class...Quilting was done on printed yardage...check out the back in the next shot.

I aspire to do this kind of work. My next quilt will be a vintage cutwork linen.
