Broccoli Slaw ~ I *love* this, eat it every day, with a blue cheese & italian dressing, sometimes sprinkled with sunflower seeds. An alternate dressing: Spicy Slaw - mayo, onion & chili powder, squeeze of lime.
Homemade tomato sauce w/pasta ~ Jars of sauce have too much sugar and sodium; fresh is so much more delicious! Saute onion and garlic, add either fresh tomatoes diced, crushing some, or a can of crushed or petite diced tomatoes. A splash of Marsala, a grind of pepper, and finish with some cream + good add's are pepperoni or italian sausage. Top with grated parmigiano reggiano <3
