How to Cook Dried Beans in a Crockpot -- made this today & they turned out great! I did not presoak the beans. I put 2 cups pinto beans, 1/2 diced onion, 1 diced jalapeño, & 1 minced garlic clove into the crockpot & covered it all w/2 inches of water (above the top of the beans). Let it cook on low for 10 hours & they were so yummy! I'll make my beans like this from now on.

Loaded Mashed Potatoes Recipe: These were really good, but a lot of work for a side (I felt). Easy to prepare, just time consuming peeling the spuds and cooking the bacon. I put in less bacon to avoid cardiac arrest. It was a large amount made. Easy (medium on time)
