How to cut wine corks for crafts and DIY projects the easy and no mess way!
I knew I was saving those corks for Wine Cork Board - cool
Looks like a fun project! Simply buy a 16x20 shadow box and some leaves from the local craft store, glue all the corks to the back of the frame and stick the leaves on!
Before cutting corks boil them in water for around 10 minutes. This will stop them from crumbling or cracking when you cut or carve into them.

Cut Corks Easily: 1.Fill a saucepan with ~2" of water. 2. Add strainer/sifter to pan. Make sure the water does not touch the strainer/sifter. 3. Add corks to shifter. Cover. Boil water for 3-5 minutes. Corks will slice very thinly without crumbling.
