Hobo Kelly - OMG!!! I loved this show! She would put her big glasses on and call out names of kids she saw. I kept hoping she'd call my name! I especially loved when she rustled thru her old bag of junk and bits to feed the magic toy converting machine! She was great!
Hobo Kelly and her looking glass. I swear I would sit in front of the tv and wait for her to "see" me and call my name
Sally Baker as Hobo Kelly hosted the live-action children's show. Hobo Kelly, which first aired on KTTV in Los Angeles in 1965, and later aired on KCOP in the same city, until 1973. Practically related to her.

I loved Lincoln Logs.
Remember, Tinker Toys, Childhood Memories, 70S, Play, Lincoln Logs, Favorite Toys, Childhood Toys
I much prefered Lincoln Logs to Tinker Toys as a child. I remember the top of my cardboard container looked just like this!
I remember in my kindergarten class we had two different sections...one for the boys and one for the girls. I was always the only girl over in the boys section playing with the Lincoln Logs. hehe.
"LINCOLN LOGS" A great Presedent, and a great toy.. The problem was you needed allot more logs.. My top looked just like this from trying to cram over and over all the pieces back in. Even my best friend as a kid said "love to play with them, hate to put them away". Being made out of real wood, go look at what they sell for now, yikes!.
My wooden Lincoln logs I had as a little girI. I use to use the long logs on the metal lid of the box like playing a drum. Love building these cabins!
My brother and I built log cabins for hours with our Lincoln Logs set!
Lincoln Logs. Played with these for hours at Grandma Long's.
Lincoln Logs <3 Could STILL play with these for hours!
Lincoln Logs were one of my favorite toys growing up.
Lincoln logs one of my favorite Childhood Toys

Car Show 052 - 9/12/2010: When Mike Lambert bought this 1966 yellow Chevy panel truck people were constantly telling him it reminded them of a Helms Bakery truck. So, Lambert did extensive research on the cabinet structure inside the truck and paid to have custom cabinets made and installed. Now he attends car shows and passes out donuts, rekindling memories for adults and giving their children a glimpse at a favorite part of Southern California lifestyle 50 years ago. mccormackphotography.com - mccormackphotography

The Easy Bake Oven was invented by a prolific toy inventor named Ronald Howes, who worked for the Kenner Products toy company in the 1960’s. The oven made it’s market debut in 1963, using an actual incandescent lightbulb to heat the food. Howes credits his inspiration for the toy to the street vendors who roasted chestnuts in New York City.
The Easy-Bake Oven was named to TIME's All-Time 100 Greatest Toys in 2011. #lightbulbbaking #easybakeoven

Remember, 90 S, 1970, 80S, Time, Blast, 70S, Mood Rings, Fun
Mood Rings were supposed to turn different colors depending on how you were feeling at the time you were wearing it. A mood ring is a ring which contains a thermochromic element, such as liquid crystal. The ring changes color in response to the body temperature of its wearer. The color is said, by some proponents, to indicate the emotional state of the wearer.
Bahahahaha!!! My husband, being unhappy with my mood swings, bought me a mood ring the other day so he would be able to monitor my moods. We've discovered that when I'm in a good mood, it turns green. When I'm in a bad mood, it leaves a big red mark on his forehead. Maybe next time he'll buy me a diamond.
mood ring - I remember the stone turned from green to purple, but can't for the life of me remember why!
Mood ring. I must have stayed in the same mood all the time because my ring never changed color

Remember, Favorite Tv, 60 S, Blast, Childhood Memories, Families, Memory Lane, Classic Tv
A Family Affair. Buffy, Jody, Cissy, Uncle Bill and Mr. French. Does anybody remember how traumatic it was when Buffy left Mrs. Beasly behind on the elevator and Mr. French couldn't find her? I was completely traumatized. The innocent days. And what little girl didn't want to grow up to be Cissy? What a darling show!
Favorite Classic TV Shows ! Family Affair. This was my favorite show. I had the paper dolls....LOL
Favorite Classic TV Shows ! Family Affair. I always called it the Buffy and Jody show DVD series
1960s TV Tuner: Family Affair. Remember Sissy, Buffy and Jody?.. Mr. French, and Ms. Beasley
One of my favorite TV shows. Family Affair aired on CBS from 1966 to 1971. The series explored the trials of well-to-do civil engineer and bachelor Bill Davis (Brian Keith) as he attempted to raise his brother's orphaned children in his luxury NY City apartment. Davis' English gentleman, Mr. Giles French (Sebastian Cabot), also had adjustments to make with the responsibility of caring for 15-year-old Cissy (Kathy Garver) and the 6-year-old twins, Jody (Johnny Whitaker) and Buffy (Anissa Jones).
Blast from the past!! Makes me think of my sister... This was one of her favorites :)
