Geronimo (June 1829 – February 17, 1909) was a prominent leader of the Bedonkohe Apache who fought against Mexico and Arizona for their expansion into Apache tribal lands. "Geronimo" was the name given to him during a battle with Mexican soldiers. ~ Quanah Parker (1845 or 1852 – February 23, 1911) was from the Comanche band Quahadi, and emerged as a dominant figure, particularly after the Comanches' final defeat. He was one of the last Comanche chiefs.

Typing Class. I took this in 9th grade. It was required for all students at my high school. Remembering the 70's.
Typing Class! I remember resisting taking this class, saying, "I don't want to end up a secretary." Turns out, what schools now teach as "keyboard skills" (beginning in kindergarten!) were very necessary when I became a reporter... and before that, a typesetter of textbooks. And then came computers. Wow. I can type 98 words a minute, by the way. #1960s #typewriters
Wow! looks like they have IBM Selectrics! Typing Class - probably the most valuable skill I learned in high school. Literally put food in my mouth with that one for awhile. Me too Melissa and so incredibly modern!
Typing Class - in high school, I took a semester on thee, & then they upgraded & I got a semester on computers!
Typing Class, our speed test sentence was "now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country"!!!!!! I still do it on my computer keyboard for fun.
