Childhood obesity is rising, but a child should never be put on the spot about it. It lowers their self esteem. The words on the ad are saying it's hard to be a little girl because she is overweight. http://gosportid.com/blog/childhood-obesity-ad/333
The bias in this picture is the fact that they are blaming McDonalds for the child's obesity and saying that he overeats. The saying on this picture needs to be reconsidered as to if it is the actual fault of McDonalds, the parents, or maybe a disorder to avoid assumptions being made (In-class Discussion, January 27, 2014).
I don't watch Sesame Street anymore, but this is messed up. The cookie Monster isn't making kids obese, the parents are. The parents are the one who have no self-control when there child asks them to buy some cookies. Or any other kind of sweet/ junk food. The parents could say no, the Cookie Monster had nothing to do with it except maybe it encourage a little.
