The thought behind this is trying to keep your insulin levels at a constant level through the day. Insulin is a hormone that our body makes when we eat meals, insulin carries the sugar to our tissues to be stored or used. Keeping our metabolism running by being active and eating several small meals a day makes our bodies efficient fat burners!
