Using QR codes in the Classroom - 10 Ways to Make Fun Use of this cool technology. I love the idea of creating book commercials and attaching to books. Also love the idea of posting QR codes throughout the school for quick introduction videos of important people and places in school - that would be great for the first day of school.

Scene of the Crime Writing: Set up a fake crime scene. Then have all students gather around and examine the scene of the crime. After they have all looked at the crime scene have them get into groups of two, and write a newspaper article about what happened. Take a picture of the crime scene, put on the bulletin board, with the newspaper articles around it. (Good for inferencing, drawing conclusions etc.)

Lego table made using Ikea's Trofast system. This is an awesome idea. I don't have kids so don't need legos, but I'm thinking this could be used for crafting - maybe a cutting board where the lego baseplate is. Measuring tape along the edges.
