Von Bock Farm in Abiquiú, New Mexico took extra steps to protect apple blossoms by applying Frost Shield, an organic micro-thin protein pro-polymer when mixed with water and sprayed hours prior to freezing temperatures provides a permeable protective coating on plants, trees, vines and fruits. A devastating frost April 14th thru the 16th in most of northern New Mexico obliterated a substantial portion of the area's fruit crop. The trees were planted 20 years ago.
