"Backyard canopy. Put PVC pipe into a 5-gallon bucket, then pour cement around it. Once dry, put bucket into tall planter, surround bucket w/ gravel, then top w/ soil. (Not covering pipe) Stick bamboo pole into the pipe & hang fabric w/ ties through grommets." A very classy DIY look for your backyard. - MilitaryAvenue.com
Outdoor kitchen and bar...stone walls...yes please!!!
Peppermint oil: homemade insect repellent. Smells great, it's easy, cheap, green and you can use on pets too.
Lowes sells the 4 to 6" round PVC pipe with holes already drilled. Purchase an end cap, fill with rock, soil, and plant. I will often put these in the center of a very large pot to stabilize, and add amazing height and color to a container that has trailing plants (no end cap or rock needed if you are placing in a container) (Maybe for herbs?)
