Freezable Sloppy Joe's Recipe For 100 People You may think you will never use this, but the recipe comes in VERY handy when needed. The leftovers freeze easily. But for the day before the big family event, Church special occasion, Pre-Thanksgiving or Christmas handy sandwich (stays warm in a Crock Pot for HOURS). And best of all, this is REALLY GOOD. Not just ketchup and hamburger.
I made this for our annual luau party - it turned out so cute! I used pineapples for the tree, oranges for the heads, lemons for the noses, radishes & black grapes for the eyes, papya's for the bodies and bananas for the arms & legs. My husband made a thin, sturdy, metal pole on a stand that we skewered the pineapples on, then we attached the monkeys with bamboo skewers that we cut to legnth. It took us about 1 hour to create this from start to finish. You can do it too! It was a huge hit!
