    City of Dreams: A Novel of Nieuw Amsterdam and Early Manhattan by Beverly Swerling -- An historical novel of early Manhattan and the growth of the Turner family. Short on history, not many characters to root for, and a lot of graphic descriptions that I didn't care for.
