Only read nine of these so far. I think The Glass Castle is next, thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law who is the perfect person to recommend a book. I wish I had her in my classroom to cater to the continual requests for good recommendations in the genre of (fill in the blank).

My Sister's Keeper

Happy Father's Day! D6 Family: Raising Dad: What Fathers & Sons Learn from Each Other

This book should just be called "Become a grateful Person". Its very convicting, but also a good reminder that the number one way to teach gratefulness and generosity and contentment is to BE grateful, generous, and content.

Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. Seriously could not put this book down and lost sleep staying up late to read it! Read this in just three sittings. Full of heartbreak and hope. Highly recommended!!

blue like jazz.

Brave Books for Girls (Not Princesses)

I want to read this.

Seven by Jen Hatmaker: putting this on my list of books to read!

The most amazing book I've read in a long time. Absolutely beautiful!!!

The Five Love Languages for Children - Gary Chapman

The Hunger Games, though for young adults, was awesome and a page turner. I highly recommend! Also am very excited for the movie!

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.

Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin

book bucket list. What do you think of this list? How are you doing? Are there books that are missing in your opinion?
