Moss gardens- Moss gardens are simple to construct. Put a layer of crushed stone or gravel in the bottom of a vessel for drainage. (Wide, shallow containers look best.) Top that with a layer of potting soil, and then add moss, stones, and plants in any arrangement that strikes your fancy.
I've recently gotten into moss gardens along with my Marimo and air plant obsessions. So far, their pretty easy to put together, but we'll see how long I can keep them alive:) I like the look of this professionally done moss garden. It looks really natural, like a tiny indoor forest.
