My first science project in kindergarden was this one, but with carnations. Brings back so many memories :) Split a rib of napa cabbage and stick in dyed water. Food experiments help teach kids how their food grows and fuels them! Gardens grow healthy kids!
Put your mark on the Christmas tree with some homemade ornaments! Use cornstarch, baking soda, and water to make your own clay, then roll it out onto a lined baking sheet and use holiday cookie cutters to make different shapes. Bake them for about an hour, then have fun decorating with shiny ribbon, sequins, paint, and anything else you can think of!
