This is just some general information about our moon and how it functions, what we have learned about it, and how it affects eclipses, seasons, and tides. Overall, this was a great website just to read and get background knowledge on the moon. It also gave information on how the moon was made, what it is made up of, and its orbit path.
This very helpful video was a very interesting source that showed successes and failures of going to the moon and details of the Space Race between the United States of America and the Soviet Union, which occured during the Cold War and after. Although the Soviets got a man into space first, the Apollo 11 crew was the first to get to the moon. The Space Race was the front for the battle between these two countries.
This website was a great one. It provided text, audio clips from the actual takeoff and landing from the first successful moon voyage. This source really helped me understand the danger of journeying to the moon and the risk involved, as well as some general information and visual and audio sources.
This was not exactly relevant to the first moon walk, but it did give information about why the moon is important to tides and other occurrences on earth. Overall, even though this wasn’t a very important website to my project, I contributed to my knowledge of the moon and was just a great piece of information to know
