Ms.Laycock constructs an action packed tale that combines an ever twisting plot, spectacular descriptions, and well developed characters, with a heart felt message of God’s grace and mercy. She manages to expose the ugliness of abuse in a way that elicits sympathy for both the victim and perpetrator, yet still leaves room for hope and healing. Her descriptions of the Yukon are true and her characters are real human beings with frailties. This was a page turner. I highly recommend it.
