Homemade dog treats. Cheap and easy! Half a can of pureed pumpkin, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of all-natural peanut butter, 1/4 cups of water, 2 cups of whole wheat flour mixed with a hand mixer. about another half cup of ww flour kneaded in by hand. rolled into thin ropes, cut into dime size pieces and baked for about 10 minutes at 350 (longer for crunchy bites but my dog likes things chewy). I'm keeping them in the fridge because they not preservatives (which I love).
When it comes to our pets, there’s not much we wouldn’t give them…we just want them to have the best and be the healthiest they can be. Because of this, we recently started making our own dog treats; there’s something about knowing exactly what’s going into them that gives us peace of mind, and these peanut butter coconut oil treats are our new favorites – they’re just so good for our (not so) little fur babies!!
