Student of the Month June 2014 Liam O’Brien, Year 13 The nomination for Liam came from different members of staff: Mr Rodgers, Mr Doyle and Mrs Henderson. This is what they said about him: * Liam is punctual, polite, hard working and has completed my single Business course this week with all Distinctions .(Mr Rodgers) * Fantastic effort over two years and achieving some excellent results. (Mr Doyle) * Outstanding student! (Mrs Henderson)
Student of the Month May 2014: Lewis Coleman, Year 7 Mrs Robinson’s nomination: Lewis has to get two buses to school, which takes him an hour either side of the day, yet he is always on time and had, until an illness this week, 100% attendance – moreover, he arrives fully equipped and ready for learning. He’s hard-working, funny, helpful and quietly kind to other students; he never gets drawn into other people’s silliness.
Student of the Month Feb 2014: Brooke Walters Miss Gwyer: Brooke did a fantastic job organising & participating in a house assembly. Each week in tutor she has a lovely way of getting the whole group to listen & respond to her. She really is a pleasure to teach. Miss Pollard:Brooke used her own initiative & time to create a ppt & other resources for our house assembly. She supported younger students by giving them roles & responsibilities. A very selfless team player.
