Umberto Boccioni. Unique Forms of Continuity in Space. 1913 (cast 1931 or 1934) | MoMA
Love? Well that's a bit off target. First piece of art that I ever tried to think originally about. Why did I hate it? Why did I like it? Why did Futurism work in paintings - for me - but seem so dated in this sculpture? And most especially, why, when trying to portray dynamism in a shining figure did it look so goofy?Unique Forms of Continuity in Space
