Homemade Fabric Softener

Save LOADS of money by making your own fabric softener! 2 cups hair conditioner (a scent you like) 3 cups white vinegar 6 cups hot water Mix together until no more clumps add cup to your HE wash load

What a clever idea...no need for dryer sheets. :)

Use aluminum foil balls in the dryer in place of fabric softener sheets. Apparently this really does work to cut down static, although of course you don't get the scent of the fabric softener.

I hate those rings in my toilet. I don't know how they get there but they do. 1 cup of vinegar and 1/4 cup of baking soda can fix that? :)

I hate those rings in my toilet. 1 cup of vinegar and cup of baking soda can fix that! Make sure to let sit for about 15 minutes or so and no scrubbing needed :-).

wish I knew this years ago- Right after using the grill, unplug it and place a wet double-sheet of paper towel between the lid and the surface. The leftover heat causes the towel to steam and clean the grill. Wiping it dry with another paper towel is all that?s needed. I'm going to try with waffle iron.

Right after using an indoor grill, a waffle iron, etc. simply unplug it and place a double layer of wet paper towels between the lid and the surface. The leftover heat causes the towels to steam and clean the grill. Wipe it dry with another paper towel.
