Howdy Neighbor! (Vermont)

Vermont is a short hop across the border from my home in upstate NY. We're what you might call "over the fence" neighbors. I was born in one of it's largest cities ~ Burlington. It hosts a plethora of historic sites, ski resorts, general/country stores, covered bridges, dairy farms & pure maple products, not to mention spectacular Fall foliage. It was and is home to many famous people, some still here and some long ago passed, but it's a place where once you've visited, you'll never forget it.

Fall in Rochester Vermont - This man's wife makes some of the best homemade whoopie pies in the Northeast! Their pure maple syrup is pretty awesome too! ;) He parks his little caravan along the road every day and sells their maple products. They'll also ship them to you, if you go to their website and place an order. Here's the link: http://www.momandpopsmaple.com/index.php

West Arlington Covered Bridge -built in 1852 and very narrowly survived the Irene floods of 2012. Arlington, Vermont is the former home of Robert Frost and just across the bridge is a Bed & Breakfast which is the former home of Norman Rockwell....now known as The Inn on Covered Bridge Green.
