We don’t usually realize this but the mobile phones we use daily which have sneaked up and become the most important part of our daily routines have evolved their design, looks and technology rampantly and have transcended their looks, feel and capabilities in a huge way. Realizing this fact, we have decided to go through and discuss the #phone review| http://phonereviewsblog123.blogspot.com

The Analog Motorola DynaTAC …The evolution of cell phones Phones have come a long way since the first hand-held device was unveiled in 1983. The first mobile call was actually made ten years earlier, on April 3, 1973, making today the 40th anniversary of that first mobile phone call.
1983 Motorola Cell phone ...zack Morris?
Throw Back Thursday! And we are throwin’ it back way before the Zach Morris cell phone days… On this day in 1973, a Motorola researcher/executive by the name of Martin Cooper made the first mobile telephone call from handheld subscriber equipment to his competitor at Bell Labs. This phone weighed almost 2.5 lbs and measured about 9” x 5” x 1.75”. This old school piece of technological history had a talk time of 30 minutes and took 10 hours to recharge!!

Toni home perm...I had naturally curly hair but would cry for a perm. Finally, my Mother gave me one, and I cried because it smelled so bad! My Dad ran to their bedroom, and got a bottle of Mom's perfume, and started spraying it! Ha! Never asked for another one!!!
The Toni Home Perm was a torture box for little girls. I remember my mother gave me a Toni perm one year just before school pictures were taken - I have proof of my "afro" hairdo because my hair was nothing but a frizz ball the next day - and boy did they stink!!!
Oh Wow. My mother started giving me Toni "permanents" from the time I was a very little girl. Shirley Temple was in vogue... and my head of straight hair was ALWAYS going to have a ton of curls. (Sweet Mama... I miss you!) Toni home perm smelled up the whole house! :-)

And the wisdom of Mr. Rogers, the wisest man you ever knew: | 50 Things You Will Never Be Able To Forget - even as a grad student, I need to hear what Mr. Rogers says sometimes. If only they had less cartoon stuff and more educational shows and shows that taught children manners and actual life lessons today. Sadly, they don 't even run reruns of Mr. Rogers on PBS anymore. I think they got rid of Barney too. Here's hoping they at least keep Sesame Street! THESE shows taught me things I use today
