The Parts of a Reader

I used this poster as a model for an anchor chart. The students gave me ideas for the labels with my "help." I have launched many reading lessons off this poster. it's a visual reminder for my students.

Fry sticks- Fry phrases-  pick a stick, read the phrase correctly, you get to keep the stick. If wrong, it goes back into the container.  TOo CuTe!

Fluency Fry Sticks is an interactive activity that students can play with one another. The students take turns pulling fry sticks from the jar. Every time the student reads the fry stick correctly they get to keep the stick.
