March is Women’s History Month and we’ll be celebrating all month long at Multicultural Kid Blogs! We’re kicking off the party with a look at picture books that feature female role models of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Some are fictional and others introduce kids to real women. All provide kids with a window through which to meet (and perhaps emulate) strong girls and women from all walks of life.
