Crayon hot rocks: If you have not done this yet, you need to. Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (I did 220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers (or something else you don't care if it gets crayon in it) and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot. I have done it with 2 1/2 year olds with no problem. My little lady often brings in rocks for me to "cook" so she can paint them

Natural water slide in Alpine, UT. Head North on Alpine's Main Street and then take a left on Fort Canyon Road, which you will follow for about one mile. After you cross a small river surrounded by foliage there will be a gate on your left leading to a field full of construction equipment. Follow the road up to the top, avoiding any tempting detours. Where the pavement ends, a dirt road begins, and to the left of that road is a small dirt path leading through the trees.

Spider web game. Just use painter's tape to make the web and have the kids throw wads of paper at it to see if they can get it to stick.

Warning: Fun Dinner Night Ahead! Cook spaghetti noodles, drain and cool. Fill a gallon Ziplock bag one quarter of the way with water. Add food coloring to the water. Add part of cooked spaghetti and mix around in the ziplock bag until noodles change color. Drain, repeat with other colors. Place the noodles in separate bowls. food coloring + normal spaghetti. kids would LOVE this!
