My 4th grade students sometimes need to be reminded what real reading looks like. These anchor charts will help any upper elementary teacher help their students learn about reading and writing routines that are a part of the workshop model.
Students would write their words in white crayon then they could choose a colored marker and color over their word and see it magically appear. I think this would be fun for the younger grades because they would enjoy seeing the word magically appear.
