The Akhal-Teke is a horse breed from Turkmenistan. Only about 3,500 are left worldwide. Known for their speed and famous for the natural metallic shimmer of their coats.~. THE COLOR IS AMAZING!! What a beautiful horse.

My horse Hawk was a Paso Fino. When Christopher Columbus landed in the New World in 1492, he found a continent without horses.  After returning to Spain, upon his return to the Americas, he brought back mares and stallions from Andalusia and Cordela.  These horses were a mixture of Andalusian, Barb, and the now-extinct Spanish Jennet.  The resulting offspring was the PASO FINO Horse
