The Chrysler Building NYC, NY ~ Designed by William Van Alen and quite possibly the pinnacle in sleek Art Deco style architecture, the Chrysler Building was completed in 1930. This icon was the world’s tallest building until it was bested by the Empire State Building in 1931, and is...even now... the third tallest building in New York City at 1,048 feet and 77 floors.

The Russian photographer Aleksey Bedny’s black white photos are staged, but for a good reason. Only then he has the time to determine and create the concept for the photo, utilizing people, animals and various objects together with stark contrast, lines and shadows normally unnoticed in everyday live.
