Robyn! Turn bottles into drinking glasses: soak heavy yarn in acetone, then wrap around bottle where you want to cut it 5-6 times.  Light it on fire until you hear a crack, then run under cool (not cold!) water until it breaks off--make sure to continually turn it under the water, and you may need to gently tap it on the sink edge to get it to break.
