One of my favorite #teacherhacks is using #sharpie paint pens to label my desks! That gold pen has been going strong for 3 years! The ink stays on longer than regular Sharpie and cleans off with...Expo marker! I have 6 groups of 4 desks-- each group is numbered 1-6, and the four desks are labeled A-D at each group. I create randomized seating charts by handing out index cards with each number/letter seat combo at the door.

Write each kid's name on a small post-it note (you can even color-code girls and boys) to create new seating arrangements - save and re-use all year.
