Twabble is an iPad application designed to teach the workings of Twitter in a fun and informal way. The main interface consists of instructions laid on top of the existing Twitter app to allow users to familiarize themselves with the UI while learning the basics and also making the jump from Twabble to Twitter smoother. The main focus was on creating the interactions and this was done through several iterations of prototypes. The final prototype was done using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Paper prototyping to understand the flow of the app and the interactions involved in it.

The decision to utilise the existing user interface of the Twitter iPad app was made early in the project. This eliminated the need to learn how to navigate yet another interface and allows users to get familiar with the Twitter app while using the learning tool thus making the transition between the two as smooth as possible.

The app has several tutorials to choose from ranging from beginner to expert level. At the start the app offers beginner tutorials as the default option but these can be easily replaced with other tutorials if so wished. This option also accommodates adding new tutorials to the app if Twitter rolls new features.

The second half of the tutorials are interactive instructions that teach users how Twitter works while they are actually using it. This allows anyone to start using Twitter immediately while getting the appropriate help to do so.

The first half of the tutorials are vocabulary explanations that explain the meaning behind Twitter lingo by highlighting the specific parts of the interface.

The interface consists of a menu bar which is being integrated within the iPad app, taking advantage of the current free space available on the right side of the screen

The aim of this project was to design with a single person in mind. The idea was based on an interview with the selected person and at the end of the project the same person reviewed the final result.
