Here is an amazingly simple Do It Yourself detergent that doesn't leave any residue on clothing, gets nearly every stain known to man out the first time around and smells clean and fresh- oh and did I mention that it costs about $ 1.76 for 128 loads of laundry?

Remove urine stains (from potty training or pets) from a mattress, upholstered furniture, carpet, etc. Pour 8 oz. hydrogen peroxide into a measuring cup, add 3T baking soda and stir till dissolved. Pour into a spray bottle, add a drop or two of dishwashing soap (Dawn, Palmolive, etc). Shake it up then spray it on the stained area. When it dries, the stain should be gone. (Test in an inconspicuous place first to be sure the solution doesnt remove the color from the fabric.)

For the "boy's" bathroom...Yah. Step 1: Mix a paste of baking soda and lemon juice. The consistency of the paste should be about that of pancake mix. Step 2: Spread the paste all along the bottom of the toilet {where it meets the floor}, the toilet seat, and any other area that gets a lot of over spray. Let it set for about 10-15 minutes. Step 3: When the timer expires spray the dried paste with white vinegar and let it fizzle. Once it is done fizzing wipe it up with a damp cloth..GOOD TO KNOW
