    The last known image of 6 year old Madyson Jamison taken on the day she disappeared along with her mother and father. They were last seen in Red Oak, Oklahoma on October 8, 2009. On October 17, hunters found the family’s four-door pickup truck locked and abandoned on a dirt road in a rural area of Latimer County. The family’s dog, Maizy, was inside the truck, nearly dead from starvation. Coats, shoes, wallets, cell phones were found in the car. They have never been heard from since.

    On 22 February 1946, Mary Larey and Jimmy Hollis survived an attack by a ‘phantom-like’ murderer in Texarkana. One month later, Richard Griffin and Polly Moore were murdered. On 13 April Betty Booker and Jerry Atkins were murdered . Three hundred suspects were brought in for questioning, but on 3 May the phantom struck again, killing Virgil Starks and wounding his wife Katy in their home. The serial killer became know as the ‘Phantom Killer’ and the case still remains unsolved today.

    The murder of Charles Walton fascinated me purely because a sighting of a Hell hound was seen with definite connections to this case. Charles Walton was found impaled on a pitchfork on his own farm in Warwickshire on February 14th 1945. It remains unsolved to this day.

    Cyanide Murder of Lottery Winner Still Unsolved [Video]: In May 2012, 46-year-old Urooj Khan thought he got lucky, buying the winning $1 million lottery ticket from a Chicago convenience store. But on July 19, Khan joined his wife, father-in-law and daughter for a curried lamb dinner–which turned out to be his last meal. That night he was rushed to the hospital but before dawn, was pronounced dead. The death certificate said he died of heart failure.

    The February 9th killer remains an unsolved case. On 2/9/2006, 29 year old Sonia Mejia and her unborn baby were murdered. On 2/9/2008, 57 year old Damiana Castillo was murdered. All three murders occured near Salt Lake City and DNA has positively linked the two cases. The suspect is a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20's. In 2011 the case was reclassified as a cold case.

    Arlis Perry, a newlywed 19-year-old North Dakota native, was killed in Stanford Memorial Church on the grounds of Stanford University on October 12, 1974. Her murder remains unsolved as of late 2009. She was found murdered with an ice pick in the church in the early morning hours of October 13, 1974. Perry was sexually assaulted with altar candles.
