Hard to Find 1975 - 1976 “Baggie” Francie® Doll #7699 comes packaged in a clear plastic bag, with a cardboard header stapled to the top, "Baggies" is the collector term. She was also the last of the Francie dolls made by Mattel. She has straight legs and was never part of Mattel's regular line of dolls; in fact, she was not in their 1975 catalog. She only came with brunette hair & wore a yellow two-piece swim suit. If you have the blonde version in a red or pink bikini, her name is Casey #9000.

RARE 1971 Japanese market exclusive Malibu Sun Set Francie (known as SUN SUN Francie in Japan). Unlike the American Malibu Francie doll which uses the Casey face, this doll uses the original Francie doll face/head mold and has gorgeous black hair and brown eyes instead of blonde hair and blue eyes.

Francie Fairchild is Barbie's younger MOD'ern who wears Mod fashions and, as an experiment, she was a hit! In the March '66 issue of Barbie Magazine, Francie was the daughter of Claude and Lily Fairchild. Some believe that the Francie doll may have been based on the character "Gidget," whose real name was Frances Lawrence (sometimes called Francie).
