1972 Pose 'n Play Tiff doll by Mattel
Tiff is referred to as Skipper's tomboy friend. I don't know why they called her a tomboy. Why can't she just be Skipper's friend? :) Tiff debuted in 1972 but was only produced for a year. Tiff is very rare and goes for big bucks. Skipper had another friend, Fluff, in 1971 and also was only produced for a year. Tiff and Fluff both came with skateboards. The only difference between the two is that Fluff has rooted eyelashes and Tiff does not, plus the different hairstyles. They share the same cute face mold but it was never used again. #TiffDoll #Tiff #SkippersFriend #PosenPlayTiff #Mattel #Skipper
1972 Pose 'n Play Tiff
1972 Pose 'n Play Tiff is a rare doll because she was only produced for one year. She replaced 1971 Fluff as Skipper's best friend. Fluff was also only around for a year. It's too bad because Fluff and Tiff share a unique face sculpt, never used again. Both come with skateboards. Physically, the only difference between the two is that Fluff has rooted lashes and Tiff doesn't. #Tiff #SkippersFriend #Skipper #70sTiff #TiffDoll #SkipperCollecting #ModBarbie #PosenPlayTiff #TiffDoll #SkippersTomboyFriend #FluffDoll #Mattel
1975 Growing Up Skipper & 1976 Growing Up Ginger by Mattel
Like many people, you may not have heard about Growing Up Skipper until the Barbie movie came out! She’s one of Mattel’s “uh-ohs” like Sugar Daddy Ken, lol. Growing Up Skipper #7259 (Barbie’s little sister) debuted in 1975 but was discontinued in 1977 amid controversy over how her body “grows.” Her pal, Growing Up Ginger, has the same "growing" mechanism. In my photo, the dolls are in the "teen" shape. #GrowingUpSkipper #GrowingUpGinger #Skipper #SkipperDoll #SkipperCollector

1976 Growing Up Ginger by Mattel
1976 Growing up Ginger #9222 was made from the same head mold and “growing” body mechanism as Growing Up Skipper. She has long brunette hair parted on the side and brown eyes. Like her pal Growing Up Skipper, her fashions fit both the young girl and teenager shapes. #GrowingUpGinger #GingerDoll #MattelGinger #SkippersFriend
