BEST Weed Spray. Works better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle.
"I learned this trick when we were selling our home: To make a stainless steel sink shine like a super star, squirt a small amount of baby oil in a clean sink. Spread it around with a dry paper towel and wipe clean. Then step back and enjoy your model home-quality kitchen."

Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelling funky. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and one cup vinegar, then a second time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!
Thanks to original pinner who said: I think I'll try this next time. The appliance repairman told me using the self-cleaning feature takes years off the life of an oven. The best oven cleaner! Cover bottom of oven with baking soda, then pour vinegar so it's all wet. Let sit around 20 minutes or so then wipe all of it out with damp cloth or sponge. I leave my oven door open too. After drying you may see some white residue, wipe again.
homemade fabric softener (NOTE: I use plain white vinegar in place of fabric softener. It doesn't leave any scent, but it takes smells out of musty laundry that's been sitting in a basket prior to washing, and it also makes the items soft.)
Holy Moly! Does this ever work! Homemade carpet cleaner.... dampen carpet, sprinkle baking soda and let sit 10 minute. Vacuum. Spray with cleaner (1 T. Dawn, 1 T vinegar, 2 C. water). Scrub and vacuum. AMAZING!
