Sight words are so important to learn early on. My kids get 2 words per week to learn. Repetition is the best way to learn them. I have them write them, read them, color them, etc. So I combined them into an interactive notebook. My students love it and it also serves as a great study guide for parents to use at home. Parents know exactly which words we are working on and what words we have already done. They can practice them over and over again.
I wrote sight words on the flat part of the bubblewrap and when they read the word correctly, they got to pop the bubble! It was sight word recognition and an occupational therapy/finger strengthening activity. You could do letter recognition, number recognition, math facts, etc.
