My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult - Loved this book about a young girl who is dying of cancer, medical ethics, and the dynamics of her family. I love most of Picoult's work. Good author. She is best at dramatizing the great moral questions of the day.
Exploring the "Jazz Age" of the millionaire Jay Gatsby and his obsession for the beautiful Daisy Buchanan told by the narrator Nick visiting the fictional town of West Egg explores many themes: decadence, idealism, resistance to change, excess and more!
all of her books are worth reading, but this was so thought provoking. Love the way she flips the issues on their head and really forces you to see things from another point of view. She is an incredible researcher and amazing writer.
The Five People You Meet in Heaven. When you die, you will meet 5 people who will explain to you the meaning of your life on Earth. Makes you really think about your actions and how you can impact other people and how someone insignificant can affect you.
Overall, I enjoyed the book, but not as much as "Change of Heart" by Jodi Picoult. The look inside the "Plain" lifestyle was intriguing. I didn't find the surprise at the end to be a surprise at all due to clues in throughout the story.
