How to make a cake mix taste like "from scratch" - Step 1: Look at the directions on the cake mix, Step 2: Add one more egg (or add 2 if you want it to be very rich), Step 3: Use melted butter instead of oil & double the amount, Step 4: Instead of water, use milk. Step 5: Mix well & bake for the time recommended on the box. No one will know it wasn't baked from scratch. ;)

Canadian Maple Pie... this pie was a special pie to celebrate quebec's 400th anniversary. It is a bit expensive to make as it calls for 12oz. pure maple syrup. It only has 4 ingredients so it's relatively easy just make sure you CONSTANTLY stir. It has a strong caramel flavor in my opinion and is best very cold w/ whipped cream. My dad and I really enjoyed it.
