Nerf Wars party for my 9 year-old son. What a blast! Made shirts. Found cool safety glasses on Ebay. Made protective vests out of foam and used Velcro to secure, put their names on the back. Made big target for practice. Painted soda cans black and added stripe of green and yellow duck tape, filled with rice and stacked for more target practice. Got some big boxes from Home Depot and painted cammo colors to use for defense. Played Capture the Flag. Kids said it was the best party!

Monster Munch: Dip pretzels into melted blue candy melts. Sprinkle with purple nonpareils. Let pretzels cool on parchment or wax paper in the freezer. For candy coated popcorn, place freshly popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Using the leftover melted blue candy melts, drizzle over the popcorn and mix together with a rubber scraper until all of the popcorn is coated. Serve in a paper cone for a special little treat that all monsters like to eat!
