I live in rural Grassy Butte and Stampin' Up is my personal business. I love Stampin' Up and have been a demonstrator for over 10 year. Creating handmade greeting cards and gifts for family and friends has been a lifelong hobby for me so when I found Stampin' Up it was a perfect fit.
Cheery Wrappers by cindy_canada - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I needed thank you treats for two of my downline members, so I decided to use my preorder supplies so that a) I could have fun with it and b) they could see the new products first-hand. The Treat boxes were done with the new Gumball Green Core'dinations cardstock. I love that it's textured - I was so sad to see the textured cardstock leave, so I guess I have these three colors to cheer me up. I used some Designer papers from the Be of Good Cheer pack and tied the sides with the lovely sweater trim that will be coming out in the Holidays catalogue. The name tags were created using the fun Joyous Celebrations set and punched with the Wide Oval punch, a perfect match. I handwrote the names using markers. http://cindymajor.typepad.com/encre_papier_ciseaux/2012/07/cheery-wrapper.html TFL!

Hi friends! The temperatures have been close to 90 degrees the last few days, yet I was inspired to make a couple of Christmas cards. Here is one and you'll see the other next week, both using long retired Stampin' Up stuff. In particular I've been trying to finish up a package of patterned paper that I bought in hmm...2009? Can't quite figure it out but needless to say I am a patterned paper hoarder, and I am determined to finish off this pack eventually, down to the very last scrap. I know I'm a little crazy but if there are any other crazy paper hoarders out there I'd love to hear from you, lol! My inspiration was this week's challenge at Merry Monday, to use the words Love, Peace or Joy on your card. I love the mantle in their inspiration photo and also tried to channel the color scheme of greens and earth tones. I stamped my envelope and a simple sentiment inside, and this card is ready to be added to my Christmas card stash. That box is looking sadly empty but I intend to work on that. Products Used: (All Stampin' Up) Stamp Sets: Festival of Trees, Endless Wishes Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Early Espresso Patterned Paper: Merry Moments Ink Pads: Early Espresso, Garden Green, Real Red Tools: Big Shot, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Tree Punch, 3/16" Corner Punch Accessories: Gold Glimmer Paper Thanks for stopping by today!
Greetings, Stampers, and a Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I spent part of mine happily playing with some new goodies that arrived in my Holiday Catalog pre-order, which is one of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. There are several new products featured in today's card. The first, which you can't miss, is the gorgeous new embossing folder, called Holiday Frame. Do you love it as much as I do?! The greeting and little bow is from a new stamp set called Joyous Celebrations, which is a set of nine stamps. The Designer Series Paper is from a stack called Festival of Prints. It is a 48 sheet stack, 4 1/2" x 6 1/2", with 12 different patterns, and it's only $6.95. Fun and value! The inspiration for today's project (aside from playing with new stuff) is this week's Paper Players Challenge, which is to make words the focal point of a clean and simple card. This new stamp set served that purpose perfectly! The greeting was stamped and then punched with a Large Oval Punch. The layer behind it was cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelit. I cut the little bow out by hand (not as hard as it looks). Then, I used a square punch to cut the flag ends of the DSP strip. The entire focal piece was attached with Dimensionals. Stampin' Up!
