This would make a good ice breaker for the first day of class. It would get students up out of their seats and moving around interacting with each other. Volunteers could also read theirs to the class. The only problem I see that could occur is that all the questions may not have matching students.

Students can bring back a written answer to one of the questions of their choice each week for extra credit, or whatever incentive you choose. They get really excited when a question comes up that they can put on the board and find out the answer to later...

When the child is awake, drape it across his lap or around his shoulders. The deep pressure touch stimulation brought about by the blanket will produce serotonin in the child, which is a hormone that will help to calm him down and produce a happier frame of mind. At bedtime, cover your little one with the weighted blanket to once again help the production of serotonin, which will lead to the production of melatonin--the hormone that helps us achieve a peaceful, restful night's sleep.
