This is basically a behavior chart. This shows each student and how they are behaving for the day. Each student has a pin, if there is a warning, that student's pin will be moved to warning. This lets you know and the student know where your behavior stands.
Ideas for early finishers, classroom organization ideas, choice board for the classroom for when there is nothing else to work on. A way to manage your classroom while some students are still working, so there is always something for the other students to do.
I think this would be a great idea to use in the classroom. To present your objectives of what you are going to be doing for the day on the wall for the class to see. Not only can they listen to what you say about what you will be doing, but they will have a visual reference to look at too if they forget.
I would like to create some sort of a reward system in my classroom. This works well with young children. Colorful tickets are fun and I would like to use this for a student to be put in a drawing for winning a prize. The more tickets you have the better chances you have at winning a prize.
I would have a cool down spot in my classroom for when students just tend to have an outbreak, this is a spot they can go away from the class to sit and think and to cool down. Students can think of a better way they could have handled the situation. When a student feels they have cooled down, they can come join the class again.
Hallway Behavior Management Idea. Before you leave the classroom pick a chip with a students name but don't tell who it is. They are the mystery walker and you are watching that student the entire time. If they do a good job in the hall, they get a ticket or prize. A way to manage behavior of your students.
