Art Deco Geometric Shawl - A stunning wool textile (1925–29) in the Museum’s collection is attributed to multifaceted artist Sarah Lipska (Polish, 1882–1973). A wonderful example of Art Deco design, this embroidery for a dress is intricately worked using subtly light-reflective materials. Our dazzling shawl in a silk satin burnout technique is based on her original textile.
