Sugar, a simple carbohydrate, gets blamed for a lot. Movies have been written about sugar. Yet the facts remain, sugar has been consumed since the beginning of time and glucose, fructose, galactose and ribose are the only four sugars absorbable in the human body. There are more than 20, individual, naturally found sugars–and none are more superior than the others, even if a label infers otherwise.

Raising kids on the farm is something special.  They get a hands on experience of the day to day operations of our farm and they get to see the life cycle of producing food for our dinner table, as well as others across the world.  They also understand what a hard day of work is and what responsibility means.  And as you can tell from their answers, they love the feeling of wide open spaces & the freedom of being on the farm.Do you have any questions about farm life for our family? That’s the competition crop plants face in a field. Crops would be taken over by weeds and bugs if not sprayed and managed to reduce that competition. Know the experts are working to minimize the amount of chemicals used, but they are necessary to grow food. Just like you manage weeds in your yard, bugs in your roses, and fungus on your tomatoes, farmers use herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides to keep food safe.
